Program Overview
The EYC Second Chance, Strong Finish: Adult GED Success Program helps adults who did not finish high school earn their GED and improve reading, writing, and math skills. Adults age 18 and older are welcome to attend. The program is free and open to people who live in Riverview, FL, and the surrounding Tampa Bay-area communities.
Students receive small group classes, online lessons, tutoring, and practice tests to prepare for the GED exam. We also offer workforce job-readiness support, including resume help and connections to job-training and placement programs. Students can also earn attendance and milestone incentives for progress and participation.
Classes are offered in a flexible hybrid format with some in-person and some online sessions at the EYC Community Development Center in Riverview, Florida.
