Program Overview
Exploration Academy coursework assists learners with special educational needs in strengthening self-determination skills (self-advocacy, decision making, self-awareness, assertiveness and creativity), and provides them with enhanced vocational training through Career Skills Instruction, HiSET GED exam preparation, On-Campus Apprenticeships, Supported Off-Campus Employment, on- and off-campus independence-promoting Health and Wellness activities, and participation in an annual Job Fair with local employer partners.
