Program Overview
Nexus Neighborhood Outreach is a nonprofit organization that is working to improve lives in northeast Dallas through community engagement, education, and assistance with resources. We offer English as a Second Language (ESL) classes at our office to our refugee neighbors in order to help them become self-sufficient. Additionally, adult learners may bring their children with them to our office, as we provide homework help and enrichment activities to school-age children and childcare for little ones during the ESL classes. The ESL classes for women take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00-6:15pm. The ESL classes for men take place on Wednesdays from 3-4:15pm and on Sundays from 9-10:30am. Our team of experienced and gracious teachers and assistances want to welcome you to our ESL classes!
Cost Info
All programming is free, except that we ask students to pay a percentage of the cost of the ventures ESL student books and workbooks that we provide them.Education services
