Program Overview
English Language for Citizenship Classes:
BilingualhHeld Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am-1pm and 5-7pm (MaryCrest building), three Semesters of 10 weeks each (Fall, Spring, Summer).
We do pre and post-testing of students, provide large and small group instruction (by Indiana Accredited EL teachers) of English language skills, US History, Citizenship, and Civics, in both English and Spanish. We have materials to help study, and we prepare students with mock interviews and practice session in class and when they have their Citizenship interview scheduled. Our program continues its proud 10 year history of 100% pass rate of the Citizenship interview and exam among the students who complete our class and apply for citizenship.
Citizenship Classes held in Spanish for those who qualify to naturalize in their native language 5-7pm, Tues./Thurs. three semesters per year. (Clase de ciudadania tambien en español 3 veces al año por los quien califican en su propio idioma)
