Program Overview

Listen to Our Future (LTOF) is a community-based program that supports young people through tutoring, education mentorship, and hands-on learning experiences. Our goal is to help students grow as readers, learners, and leaders—both in and out of school.

Who Can Join?

  • Students ages 5–18, adults looking to get their GED
  • Families looking for extra academic support
  • Students who may need help catching up or staying on track in school
  • Volunteers and college students who want to support youth and gain experience

What We Offer

  • Tutoring in reading and math, focused on building strong skills and confidence
  • Education mentorship, where students receive encouragement, goal-setting support, and guidance from caring adults
  • Small group and one-on-one sessions tailored to each student's needs

Tutoring and programs are offered virtually at the LTOF Learning Center.

Some programs may also take place in schools, afterschool programs, or community spaces.

What Families Should Know

  • We work closely with families to understand each student's goals
  • Students may complete a pre-assessment so we can plan the best support for them
  • Programs are welcoming, inclusive, and centered on building confidence and belonging

Want to Get Involved?

  • Families can enroll students or ask questions about services
  • Community members and college students can volunteer or apply to work with us
  • Partners are welcome to collaborate on programs and events

Listen to Our Future believes that every student deserves support, opportunity, and someone who believes in them. We are proud to grow and learn alongside the community we serve.
