Education Innovation Initiative

Program Overview

The Birmingham Education Foundation is launching a pilot program called the Education Innovation Initiative in Hayes K-8 School in the Birmingham City Schools District. The program will place a full time Community Connector in the school for students and families to go to when in need of resources both in regards to academic support as well as non-academic support, including adult education opportunities, financial literacy, and support with accessing other types of community support.
