Program Overview
Educate 4 Success – Mission Statement
Empowering young adults to achieve self-sufficiency through education, mentorship, and community support.
Educate 4 Success is dedicated to helping youth who lack ongoing parental support build independent, fulfilling lives. Our program connects participants with essential resources, including local, state, and federal services, faith-based organizations, law enforcement, social justice initiatives, and a network of compassionate nonprofit partners.
Through literacy programs, GED preparation, and vocational training, we provide the tools necessary for long-term success. Our focus includes:
A. Supporting individuals who have participated in North Carolina's 16–21-year-old Foster Care Program* and apply with a Voluntary Placement Agreement (VPA).
B. Providing educational pathways through GED preparation, literacy and writing programs, post-secondary education, apprenticeships, and employment opportunities.
C. Assisting young adults ages 18–26 who meet criteria for financial and educational support.
D. Extending support to others facing similar challenges in their pursuit of self-sufficiency.
Qualified participants receive personalized mentoring, direct literacy instruction, financial assistance for education, off-campus housing, and access to affordable, community-based meal programs. Through these efforts, we help young adults transition from uncertainty to stability, equipping them with the skills and confidence to build a brighter future.
