Program Overview

Educare Center, Inc. is a Non-Profit 501(c) 3 community service organization that work with youth, families, seniors, veterans and individuals to improve literacy and moving towards higher education and job creation in Houston County and surrounding areas in Middle Georgia.

Orientation process includes setting educational goals using initial student educational plan.Customized curriculum will
include state content standards augmented by computer assisted programs (ITTS,GED Interactive, PreGED Interactive, Rosetta Stone, New Reader Bookstore).

Regular student skill evaluations (within CAI programs &
instructional materials) will be used as indicators of retesting with TABE or Best Plus.

Orientation process includes setting employment goals and career readiness skills for the unemployed student
using initial student work education plan.

Leveled work skill instruction will prepare the student for the career readiness test and include textbooks (Workplace
Skills series) and online software (Key Train).

Career exploration will be achieved with textbooks (Workforce Career Companions), job seminars with local
business speakers and the Department of Labor.

Job search will be achieved through developing a resume, networking with local businesses, Chamber of
Commerce, Department of Labor and internet job listings.
