Foothills Adult Education which is part of EdAdvance provides three paths to a high school diploma: Credit, National External Diploma, and GED prep classes. Other classes include English, Citizenship, and Adult Basic Skills. Career training options available at low or no cost to students enrolled in the program.
Foothills Adult & Continuing Education, a program of EdAdvance, is a consortium of 17 school districts serving 26 towns in western Connecticut that works collaboratively to provide life-long learning to adults in the communities we serve in a quality environment at convenient locations or online.
Hours of operation: 8:30am to 4:30pm
Towns served include Litchfield, Plymouth/Terryville, Sherman, Thomaston, Torrington, Watertown, Region 1 (Canaan, Cornwall, Kent, North Canaan, Salisbury, Sharon), Region 6 (Goshen, Morris, Warren), Region 7 (Barkhamsted, Colebrook, New Hartford, Norfolk, Winchester/Winsted, Hartland), Region 14 (Bethlehem, Woodbury), Region 15 (Middlebury, Southbury)
