Program Overview
The Early Learning Coalition (ELC) helps families find and pay for quality child care and early learning programs. We support parents with young children so they can work, go to school, and know their children are safe and learning.
ELC's Child Care Resource and Referral (CCRR) service helps families find child care that fits their needs. We share information about child care programs, hours, costs, and quality ratings. We also help families understand what to look for in a safe and healthy learning environment.
ELC's School Readiness (SR) program helps eligible families pay for child care. This program supports working parents and children from birth to age five by helping cover the cost of care at approved providers.
ELC also offers Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK), a free program for all four-year-olds in Florida. VPK helps children build early reading, math, and social skills so they are ready for kindergarten.
Together, these services help families build a strong foundation for their child's future learning and success.
