Program Overview
SER-Niños Charter School provides innovative dual language education in English and Spanish to students in Pre K - 8th grade. All students at SER-Niños Charter School are expected to be fluent in both languages, both written and oral communication, by the end of 8th grade. The student population is 99% Hispanic, and approximately 96% of the students are classified as at-risk and economically disadvantaged, almost double the Texas rate. Ninety percent of students qualify for the free or reduced lunch program.
In addition to providing full-time education, we offer Saturday Tutorials which are small group sessions designed for students to work on their language, reading, and math skills.
We also offer Enrichment Programs which provide tutoring, homework help, and extra curricular help such as Scouts and sports for youth after school.
Cost Info
SER-Niños Charter School System is a tuition-free network of public charter schools. Just like traditional public schools, it is funded by local, state and federal tax dollars based on student enrollment.Education services
