Program Overview
To enroll, call 515-248-7517 to set up an interview and assessment. Due to Covid-19, volunteers are not meeting one-to-one with adults who need to improve reading, writing and/or speaking skills. Enrolled adults use computer-based instruction that offers anywhere, anytime learning.

Mission Statement
The Mission of the DMACC Adult Literacy Center is to improve literacy, resulting in enhanced self-esteem, daily living and lifelong learning. Utilizing volunteers and new technologies, we teach adults to read, write and comprehend.
Hours of operation: 8:30-4:00, M-Th, other times as arranged
