Program Overview
Dollars For Scholars is a comprehensive college prep program designed for Service Members, Veterans and Civilian family members in grads seven through eleven. Some student activities include: Effective communication and branding skills; resume and essay writing; family literacy community service projects; and financial planning for Parents.
We currently serve 75 students in this program and participate in a Light Up For Literacy Community Project for third graders and their families. In this project, books are given to third graders to take home for reading; and later come together monthly to read to volunteers.
Cost Info
The cost of Dollars For Scholars is $25 per student. This cost covers books, external drives and family project supplies.Education services
