Day Facility

Program Overview

The HALO Day Facility is open to both shelter guests and the general public every weekday. It exists to connect everyone who walks through our doors with what they need: a place to receive their mail, life skill classes, hair cuts, or even just a safe place where they don't have to worry about being kicked out or harassed. We partner with various organizations that provide classes, activities, and services.

Right next door to our Day Facility is our Cafe, where anyone and everyone can come in for a nutritious meal everyday of the year, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. (Bagged lunches are provided on weekends.) Anyone who comes into our Day Facility can stay for meals.

While in the Day Facility, if needed, individuals can use those phones to contact the office to get a bed space in our emergency shelters for men and women with children, then complete their paper work on site.
