Program Overview

The Croom Foundation's Adult Education Program helps adults earn their High School Equivalency (HSE) and build strong reading, writing, and math skills. The program is open to adults in Tuscaloosa County who want to finish school, improve their job opportunities, or feel more confident in daily life. Classes are taught in small groups, with teachers who give step-by-step help and easy-to-follow lessons. Parents can also bring their children to take part in fun reading activities that help build early literacy skills at home. Our program is welcoming, supportive, and designed for busy adults. All materials are provided, and there is no cost to join. Classes are held at convenient community locations so students and families can learn in a safe and friendly environment.
