CRIS Club

Program Overview

CRIS Club is a free drop-in program where adults can practice English in a friendly, relaxed setting. There is no registration and no long-term class commitment. People can come as often as they want or only when they need help.

Participants build English language and literacy skills through everyday topics like shopping, meeting new people, and job interviews. They also practice English while working on real-life tasks such as filling out job applications, understanding bills, writing messages, or talking with schools and employers.

Support is provided one-on-one. Volunteers work directly with participants, and CRIS staff guide the sessions and provide support.

CRIS Club is open to adults age 18 and older who want to practice English and build confidence in daily life. The program is offered at various locations and may also be offered virtually based on community needs.
