Program Overview
For Virginia adults age 18 and over, Computer CORE offers free online basic computer skills classes in subjects such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Classes are taught by volunteers. Please see our website www.computercore.org for more information.

Celeste received college degrees in the 1970s, yet was not up-to-date with her computer skills. While contemplating a retail position, to update her skills she attended CORE's online computer skills classes. After passing eight Northstar Digital Literacy Assessments, she was offered a paid internship with a tech support company.
