Program Overview
Kids Soar is a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty through education and service. Located in Roanoke, VA, we provide free, high-quality literacy programs for children in grades K-5 through our after-school program, which includes tutoring, research-based reading activities, recess, enrichment opportunities, and nutritious meals. We also offer mentorship and guidance for middle school youth to help them discover their unique strengths. Additionally, we empower parents and caregivers through workshops that focus on financial literacy, parenting skills, and fostering a love of reading at home. At Kids Soar, we believe every child deserves the tools to succeed and the confidence to soar.
Cost Info
After School Program is $105 a week. We accept Virginia Subsidy and offer scholarships. No child will be denied access to our programs due to inability to pay.Education services
