Program Overview

NYCC operates 11 ESL classes online and in person throughout New York City. Our ESL classes primarily serve Caribbean & Latin American immigrants (from Haiti, Mexico, Ecuador, Honduras, El Salvador, the Dominican Republic, and more recently, Venezuela), but are open to all. Our Digital Literacy/Computer Skills classes are targeted to help seniors build the skills and confidence to safely access technology and to help workers develop the computer skills they need to find a job and navigate the 21st-century workplace. Finally, our online GED preparation class is conducted in English and is open to anyone 18 or older who lives in New York City.
