Program Overview

Welcome to the Columbus Technical College Adult Education Department.
The Adult Education Program is designed to enable adult learners to acquire the necessary skills in reading, writing, computation, speaking,listening, and technology to compete successfully in today's global workplace, and assists students in GED® Preparation. Columbus Technical College offers free day and evening classes to eligible adults over 16 years of age in Chattahoochee, Harris, Muscogee, Quitman, Stewart, and
Talbot counties. The mission of the Adult Education Department is to equip students to obtain the GED® credential, gain suitable employment, and/or enter into postsecondary education.
