Program Overview

CCALC is a coalition of programs located at different addresses in Collin County. Basic literacy services are delivered under our umbrella as one to one instruction held in libraries, churches,etc. Basic Literacy instructors are all volunteers. Some of the other member programs have a mix of paid and volunteer instructors. The CCALC board is 100% volunteer.

Mission Statement

The Collin County Adult Literacy Council (CCALC) is a non-profit, 501 c3, non-sectarian, non-religious, non-political organization whose purpose is to serve the literacy needs of adults who live in Collin County, or who have access to services provided in Collin County.
