Program Overview

The Clark County Literacy Council is a nonprofit organization that works with adult learners to improve their basic literacy and/or English as a second language skills. This is accomplished by utilizing trained volunteers to tutor adults in Clark Council, enabling them to become fully participating and empowered citizens.

Cost Info

The Clark County Literacy Council provides free tutoring for adults in Basic English and ESL. The cost to students is your time and willingness to learn. If you have that the Clark County Literacy Council is here to help you reach your goals!

Student and Volunteer Success Stories

One Clark County Literacy Council student said "I believe the Literacy Council really plays a big role in a lot of people's lives." This student went on to complete his goal of learning to read better in order to take the driving exam and now holds an Arkansas drivers license.
