Program Overview

Lawful Permanent Residents enroll in Citizenship Education to learn about the citizenship process, U.S. history, civics and English skills in preparation to apply for naturalization. We offer evening classes quarterly (every 3 months) in Yakima and Toppenish. Each class meets two nights a week at selected locations in both towns.

La Casa Hogar is a Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA)-accredited organization. Individuals who are eligible to apply for U.S. citizenship work with our BIA-accredited staff member to complete the N-400 application.
