Program Overview

The Dream Center, a 501 (c) (3), serves as a distribution center for children, youth and adults especially those who are at-risk and face conditions of poverty. After school programs include: reading/math instruction, homework help, literacy instruction using Laubach Way to Reading, structured activities, and recreation. A snack and free hot meal is served each day. We serve 40 children who are at 95% free reduced lunch. We offer programs for the entire family including: parenting programs, budget/finance, literacy, numeracy, and help for senior citizens. We have a monthly food distribution and use Charity Tracker software to ensure proper receipt. The Dream Center is located at Deliverance Temple which has been helping north Springfield for over 40 years.
