Program Overview

Central Arizona College Adult Education offers free High School Equivalency (HSE) preparation classes for adults in Pinal County. Our HSE program helps students prepare for the GED® test, earn a high school equivalency diploma, and build the skills needed for college, career training, and employment.

In addition, we also offer free English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes. Our ESOL program helps students improve their English speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills for everyday life, the workplace, and continued education.

To enroll in either our HSE or ESOL program, you must be at least 16 years old, live in Arizona, not be enrolled in high school, and attend a required information session. Students who are 16 or 17 years old must provide an official high school withdrawal form when registering.
