Program Overview
If you're ready to upgrade your education, get career ready, get the scoop on employers or invest in your success, Catholic Charities is here to help.
Our goal is to connect youth and adults in Erie and Niagara counties with livable-wage jobs. We do this through a combination of comprehensive services offered in Erie and Niagara counties:
Education: Improve/upgrade math or reading skill levels and/or take classes to earn your high school equivalency diploma.
Job readiness: Develop a resume, learn how to prepare and dress for an interview, connect with job-search resources. Additionally, some of our programs offer internships and paid work experiences.
Employment preparation: Learn about proper business attitude and conduct, employer expectations and how to retain and advance your employment.
Guidance: Receive financial literacy assistance, and help with entering employment, college, a vocational training program or the military.
Catholic Charities stands out by not only educating and preparing you, but also offering additional services that can cover every need and overcome as many obstacles as possible. We are passionate about seeing you achieve your goals and be successful.
All of our high school equivalency instructors are licensed and certified New York State teachers.
To get started today, call (716) 893-3500 ext. 209 if you're an Erie County resident and (716) 694-7749 ext. 2964 if you're a Niagara County resident.
