Program Overview

The Wilmington Public Library District is now offering adult learners a second chance to earn their high school diploma and become career and college ready!

Career Online High School is an accredited online program where adult learners can earn an actual high school diploma, as opposed to a GED, as well as a career certificate in one of eight career areas. This free, no-cost program is being made available through a limited number of scholarships. Applicants must be an adult 21 years or older, live in the Wilmington Public Library District, and have a current library card in good standing, or be eligible for one.

Our mission is to provide access to information, ideas, and cultural opportunities essential to a literate and educated society and to provide a welcoming environment where people can seek out and explore all library resources without barriers.

Hours of operation: M-Th 9am-8pm; F-Sat 9am-5pm; Sun 12pm-5pm
