Program Overview
The Pathway to English program aims to provide learners with the language and literacy skills they need in order to succeed in their new community. Through improved English skills, students are able to bridge gaps in communication in their everyday activities and navigate new environments. Our program uses an online learning platform called Off2Class. We also offer workshops and lessons that relate to many of our classroom topics. They aim to assist students with resumé writing, professional skills, access to healthcare, and much more.
Most of our teachers are either fluent in Spanish or have at least an intermediate level of Spanish ability to help facilitate learning. While we do have some students from other language backgrounds, most of our students are Spanish-speaking.
