Program Overview

California Indian Nations College (CINC) strives to educate, strengthen, and empower our tribal and local communities!

CINC offers a personalized and professional approach to help you earn your GED/HS Equivalency with:

• Personalized instruction
• Flexible and customized schedule
• Individual study plans
• Collaborative learning environment
• Authentic study materials and guidance

We offer two tracks, traditional GED preparation and a high
school equivalency/diploma program. Instruction and support is available on-line or in-person.

Once a GED or high school equivalency is obtained, students can apply to CINC and enroll in our college courses to continue their education.

"I grew up in Pasadena near where the Tournament of Roses Parade happens annually. I looked forward to the those smells every year, flooding down the arroyo. The horses were dressed and painted on my street, and one year I volunteered. I love those early memories. I didn't get much help from my parents to stay in school, and I was too embarrassed to ask for help, so I dropped out. I was lost and stubborn, holding on to anger and fear, I was in total denial. I acted like I didn't care, because I felt no one cared about me, and I fell into alcohol and drugs at a young age, which held me back even more. When I got to CINC, I no longer felt ashamed. I enjoy the staff and they always encourage and motivate me to move forward; they are supportive and make me feel good about myself. I have a goal now, and it keeps me gong. I'm on my way to getting my GED, and I plan to take one class at CINC by 2021. I am proud of who I am and I'm not alone. I have a whole team cheering me on." ~Evelyn, CINC GED Student
