Program Overview
Calhoun Community College Adult Education Program offers FREE adult literacy, basic academic skills, GED preparation, an alternative high school diploma program, employability skills, career pathway programs, digital literacy training, English as a second language instruction, and ASVAB and ACT preparation for learners within the program's North Alabama service area of Madison, Morgan, Limestone, and East Lawrence counties. Each learner works at his or her own pace and all instructional materials are available at no cost to the learner. Any adult who is at least 18 years of age and not currently enrolled in school may participate in the Adult Education program. Students ages 16 -17, who are not enrolled in school, may enroll with proper approval and required under-age paperwork.
