Program Overview

Class sizes are small and a session is approximately 8 weeks long. We also hold classes at 715 E. 13 in Andover, KS; Butler Service Center at 2626 S. We are a certified Pearson Vue GED Assessment Center at our El Dorado and Andover locations.

Adult Education provides literacy, adult basic education, STAR reading, pre-GED®, English Language Acquisition classes, EL Civics classes, work readiness (Kansas WorkReady certification), basic technology, GED® preparation, and college preparation instructional classes as well as GED® and WorkKeys® testing for residents of Butler, Sedgwick, and the surrounding counties. Our goal is to help learners obtain the skills necessary to function as productive citizens, employees, and family members.

We design and deliver programs and services that meet the educational, work readiness and GED® testing needs of learners in the Adult Education program and the educational, work readiness and GED testing needs of the businesses and communities in Butler and the surrounding counties.
