Program Overview

The Adult Education and Literacy programs at Blue Ridge Community College are designed for adults who need to improve their reading, writing and math skills or who are learning to speak the English Language. All programs combine academics and language acquisition with contextualized workplace activities. Adults with a high school credential but whose academic skills are below the 12th grade level are welcome to attend our programs.
