Program Overview
Family Biz Builder's (FBB) mission is to provide character, life skills, creative arts and educational training for the underserved children, youth ages 5-17 and families of Tunica, Desoto and Coahoma counties in North Mississippi.
To the parents who need help with your child(ren) education FBB could be for you. The program provides mentoring services and homework assistance in both one-on-one and group mentoring sessions. Your child is matched with a mentoring coach, and pairs meet virtually each week, using software that focuses on math, reading, and language arts. In addition to academic training, students learn character, life skills, and creative arts, using the online educational curricula Exact Path and Study Island as resources focusing on math, reading and language arts.
