Program Overview
Beyond Literacy (BeLit) is Philadelphia's largest adult education nonprofit. We offer free classes to help adults learn English, improve reading, writing, math, and digital skills, prepare for the GED or HiSET, and build skills for work and family life. We also offer family literacy programs where parents and children learn together. Classes are held online and in person at locations across the city, including our West Philadelphia campus at 229 N. 63rd Street and our North Campus site at 100 W. Oxford Street Suite, 19122. Our programs are open to adult learners of all backgrounds, and we welcome new students year-round. BeLit's friendly staff are here to help you reach your goals in school, work, and life!
