Program Overview
At this location along with weekly Bible study and free childcare (when open in person), we offer two education tracks in programs to men and to women, primarily 18 and above:
• HSE (High School Equivalency) offering tutoring and/or classes in five subjects: Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies
• ELL (English Language Learners) accommodating three levels of instruction:
- Level 1 - foundational vocabulary and basic grammar
- Level 2 - builds on vocabulary and grammar with additional verb tenses, introduces adverbs, and teaches longer sentence structures
- Level 3 - prepares a student for workplace vocabulary by learning phrases, sayings, and concepts; for example, how to exercise critical thinking skills and spends more time in comprehensive reading and writing
Enrollment in our services is open to persons of all faiths and culture.
