Program Overview

At the Woodbine location, we offer two education tracks in programs to men and to women, primarily 18 and above:

• HSE (High School Equivalency) offering tutoring in five subjects: Reading, Language, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies

• ELL (English Language Learners) accommodating three levels of instruction:

• Level 1 - foundational vocabulary and basic grammar
• Level 2 - builds on vocabulary and grammar with additional verb tenses, introduces adverbs, and teaches longer sentence structures
• Level 3 - prepares a student for workplace vocabulary by learning phrases, sayings, and concepts; for example, how to exercise critical thinking skills and spends more time in comprehensive reading and writing

Enrollment in our services is open to persons of all faiths and culture.
