Begin Anew-Madison

Program Overview

The Madison location for Begin Anew offers three educational tracks for men and women, 18 and above. We also offer free childcare for children of students who are in class.

• HSE (High School Equivalency) offering tutoring in five subjects: Reading, Language, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies

• ELL (English Language Learners) accommodating three levels of instruction:

• Level 1 - foundational vocabulary and basic grammar
• Level 2 - builds on vocabulary and grammar with additional verb tenses, introduces adverbs, and teaches longer sentence structures
• Level 3 - prepares a student for workplace vocabulary by learning phrases, sayings, and concepts; for example, how to exercise critical thinking skills and spends more time in comprehensive reading and writing

• Computer and Job Skills Training teaching programs like Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Windows, and Word, along with skills such as building a resume, etc.

Enrollment in our program is open to persons of all faiths and culture.
