Program Overview

The Ascension Parish Library Adult Literacy Program helps individuals reach their reading, writing, and life-long learning goals. We provide the opportunity for you to meet with a volunteer tutor 2-hours each week at a time and library location (Gonzales, Donaldsonville, Galvez, or Dutchtown) that's mutually convenient for both. Tutoring is tailored to each adult's needs and learning materials are provided.

Cost Info

Ascension Parish Library Adult Literacy Program (APLALP) provides literacy support, FREE of charge, to adults through a network of trained tutors.
