Annual Literacy Fair

Program Overview

Mar Vista Family Center's Annual Literacy Fair is a morning event for parents and children aged 0-11 years to participate in fun, food, crafts, games, and free books! The event aims to

1) encourage families to read together

2) foster an appreciation for books; and

3) demonstrate the importance of reading to our children.

These goals are achieved through our story-time read aloud, our communion around literature, our literary themed crafts, and our book bag giveaways. The event is free and open to the public and is hosted annually in April. Please contact the Center for details on our 15th Annual Literacy Fair to be held in 2019!
