Program Overview

The Anne Arundel County Literacy Council offers free one-on-one literacy, math, GED, or ESL tutoring. Our students improve their skills to achieve goals which include getting a GED or Maryland High School Diploma, finding a job or a better-paying job, qualifying for training programs, reading to their children, learning English, becoming a citizen, or living independently. Our services are free and convenient to low-income adults in Anne Arundel County. Tutors meet their students at the public library close to the student at times that are good for the student.
