Program Overview

The African Community Education Program (ACE) is a non-profit, community-based organization that is dedicated to helping African refugee and immigrant youth and their families to successfully transition into the Worcester, MA, community. We provide comprehensive programs and services, including our After School Program, Saturday Program, youth Mentoring, Worcester Public Schools Liaison services, Family Outreach services, and Family Education Program. The youth we serve have extreme educational deficits, limited English proficiency, and carry the scars of psychological trauma. ACE was founded in 2006 to help youth overcome these challenges, and we extend wraparound support to their families to provide a stable foundation for children's success.
