Program Overview

DEAF, Inc. offers classes taught in American Sign Language (ASL) such as: financial literacy, digital literacy, English for ASL users, ASL for Deaf, ASL for Hard of Hearing, Citizenship Preparation, and Driver Manual Education (coming soon). Classes are designed specifically for Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Late Deafened adults. Classes are taught in real-time on Zoom by a Deaf instructor. Class size is limited and classes run for 10 weeks (Spring, Fall, Winter sessions). Priority for classes is to DEAF, Inc. consumers. Any Deaf, Hard of Hearing or Late Deafened adult in Eastern Massachusetts is welcome to become a consumer for services. Additional 1:1 services are available and depend on individual need.
