Student and Volunteer Success Stories

Patrick Emproto Book Club

Patrick was of the first members of the Book Club who had a dream to learn how to read. He joined all of CP's Adult Education Series Reading Classes and Book Clubs and accomplished his goal. After his passing in September of 2022, his fellow club members wanted to name the Book Club after him, in his honor. Book Club Members participate in discussions about adult-level titles and enjoy special group events like the annual book drive promoting literacy in underserved communities.
