Program Overview

GED®

The GED® Preparation Program consists of four content-area assessments: Reasoning through Language Arts, Mathematics Reasoning, Science, and Social Studies. The purpose of the program is to prepare students to obtain the knowledge and
skills necessary to pass the Official GED® Tests and be awarded a State of Florida High School Diploma. An additional performance level will certify that the student is career and college ready. This program strives to motivate
students not only to obtain a GED® diploma, but to continue their education to earn a postsecondary degree, certificate, or industry certification.

AHS

Using contextualized curriculum coupled with relevant technology the program prepares students for academic and
personal success while obtaining the necessary credits required to obtain their high school diploma. Additionally,
Career pathway exploration is a vital component of the adult high school experience.

English as a Second Language

The purpose of this program is to provide English language instruction to adult learners who are able to read and write in at least one language other than English. Prepare adult learners to use English for entering career and technical and/or postsecondary education, employment, and participation in the
