Program Overview
Chuck Shaw Technical Education Center is a full-time Palm Beach County public school for adults (16 years and older). We offer CTE courses, ESOL and ABE/GED classes.
Our CTE (Career Technical Education) courses we offer are Home Health Aide - HHA, Phlebotomy Technician and EKG Technician. We offer a Forklift Safety Course and OSHA Certification in a one day course.
Our ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes are designed for students to develop English proficiency in reading, writing, listening, speaking and acquiring computer skills to succeed in life and work. We offer an ESOL course that emphasizes becoming a US citizen.
Our ABE (Adult Basic Education) and GED (General Educational Development) classes are designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge in reading, writing, math, science and social studies so that they can be successful on the GED Test.
