Program Overview

The Adult Education Program at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House provides free English language classes and technology education. We offer practical, enjoyable learning experiences to help students gain skills to enrich their lives and careers.

Our English for Speakers of Other Languages classes help English language learners improve their English reading, writing and speaking, be more engaged in their communities, get better jobs and be more involved in their families' education. We offer beginner, intermediate and advanced class sessions four times per year. Registration includes an enrollment form and a short placement test.

Our Technology Education program provides help and instruction to adults age 60 and older. We offer 1-on-1 Tech Help by appointment, an open computer lab, walk-in Office Hours and group classes on a wide range of topics. Participants must be members of our Older Adult Centers, which are free to join. For more information on our Centers, please call 212-218-0319.
