Program Overview

The overall objective of the Adult Day Training (ADT) program is to provide students with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, who age out of high school, with the proper resources, guidance, and training they need to achieve maximum independence. This Facility-based Program provides meaningful daytime activities that focus on self-determination, and lead to community inclusion, with sheltered activities as steppingstones to the community. ADT provides daily living skills, pre-vocation and vocational training, and opportunities to access and interact with community resources. Transportation and two meals are provided daily. This program provides the foundation for all clients to develop life and social skills that are essential for community interaction and personal growth.
