To improve reading, writing, and computer literacy among individuals with inadequate reading and writing skills, who are in school and below grade level, young adults with a high school diploma and those youth and young adults without High School diplomas become empowered, elevate the role they serve in the community, and provide them with a greater opportunity. Achievers’ helps individuals build a stronger literacy foundation. Literacy provides participants with opportunities for upward mobility and Achievers’ participants can enter the program in one of the three pathways: literacy enrichment, pre-GED or GED program. Achievers’ mitigates the eminent need for disconnected youth and young adults to feel confident, be educated, mentored and experience success. Adults tutoring youth and young adults mentor their passion for learning, increase their thirst for knowledge and improve character.
