Program Overview
At the HSE Academy, we are dedicated to making a direct impact in the lives of non-high school graduates in the communities we serve. We do this by offering our students a high quality HSE preparation program at no cost.
The HSE is a nationally recognized certificate that is equivalent to a high school diploma. The HSE exam consists of five tests over two days: Writing, Social Studies, Science, Mathematics and Reading.
Through our HSE Academies, we are here to do everything we can to help our students do their best on the California HiSET® exam. This is one of the three HSE exams adopted by the state in 2014. Our HSE Academies are solely dedicated to help prepare you to successfully pass the HiSET®. When you pass this exam, you earn your high school equivalency certificate.
Cost Info
Our program is part of a non-profit organization and there is no cost to our students. All students must attend classes, 2 hours per day, 5 days per week for approximately 60-90 days. We also pay the State of California's testing fees on behalf of the student.Education services
