A Faith That Does Justice (AFTDJ) provides an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program, directly serving the Boston immigrant community, offered to any adult seeking to learn basic English language skills. The program is free. Each 12 week session consists of two, 2 hour classes per week. Morning and evening classes are available, and classes sizes range from 8-12 students. AFTDJ also offers ESOL student support through volunteer Student Relationship Managers (SRMs). SRMs mentor students and support them through their learning process.

- "Dear teachers and dear Peter W. Gyves, Thank you so much for believing in me. [I] [t]hank God for meeting you. I look forward to continuing my studies." – Olena (student)
- "Thank you so much Teachers and Peter W. for my present and certificate. God Bless you." – Sandra (student)
- "My experience as an SRM has allowed me to have a closer relationship with the students, letting them know that they have our support and that there is someone they can relate to advocating for their success throughout their class cycle. It is like having a friend next to them. They feel less lost. It is easier for them to know where to go for help. They feel more at ease and more empowered to engage in the program. This position allows us to get to know students' needs and concerns and to work with this in mind" – Samuel (volunteer)
