Program Overview
The 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Program encourages parents and caregivers to provide positive, nurturing early experiences by reading aloud to their children regularly. Through their partnership, Upstart and the 1000 Books Foundation have designed posters, bookmarks, reading records, and incentives that help libraries, early childhood centers, and other organizations promote the program.
